Exciting News!

Wedgwood Square Neighborhood Association is planning to branch itself off to include a Wedgwood Square Business Association.

This Association will be just for businesses, addressing businesses' concerns and working to unite and network you with each other to form a stronger union among you and to help represent you to the city regarding your needs and issues.

With our Neighborhood Empowerment Zoning initiative underway and the Association's plans to apply for the Model Block Award of $1.2 Million this year, it is very important that the approximate 300 business in our boundaries come together to discuss their needs which although are very different from the residents' needs are also infinitely important to our community's survival and betterment.

Wedgwood Square President, Tolli Thomas is looking to our involved businesses for involvement and support and will be discussing with the executive committee, candidates for appointment to the Interim Chairing Committee of the Business Association.

Clearly we will look first to those businesses that have already been active and involved in the community and with Wedgwood Square, but if you haven't been such so far, this is the perfect opportunity for you to step forward and commit to involvement that will shape the future of this community.
